Not a day goes by,
Without the need to console,
You send a sign, admonition or reminder,
To reassure and inspire my restless soul,
Please never leave me at the Mercy of myself,
Even for a blink of an eye.
Adorned in wrappings,
Decorating the room,
Covered in dust,
A picture of gloom.
Filled with treasures,
Priceless yet free,
Allah has sent this key.

I give in to my desires and to Iblis,
How could I agree to let go of You, with ease?
